showing my 30 days of research and work for Indian rupee symbol here, this symbol looks simple but i did lots of research and brain stormed for more than 200 symbols and finally i come to this decision

the synergy of several themes namely: antiquity and modernity; Indian-ness and the International culture; the East and West.

And I also got one having something to do with the swastika from Soumen at http://soumeninr.blogspot.com He says this si the best symbol he could think of, hear about, etc.

Anyone else find this competition to be very interesting ? How often is a new symbol for a currency design ?
